Final #Falcons thoughts before Day 2: I hope someday I look back at how stupid my opinion on this pick was. I’ve been wrong before. I don’t like/understand it, but I don’t know everything. The only thing I know for a fact is that the Falcons red helmets are cool.

I’m just tired of this team being laughed at. But they refuse to help themselves.

In the coming days there’s gonna be people close to the team telling you that it was a great pick, but don’t fall for it. Penix is good don’t get me wrong, but makes 0 sense for the moves they’ve made. Also, anytime Kirk Cousins messes up, the chants for Penix will start.
This team is ready to compete and you take a QB who is going to be likely 27 before getting to play?! All the red helmets in the world can’t make me feel good about this.
The only pick I’ll be mad at is if the #Falcons stay at 8 and take Penix like the recent rumblings have mentioned. Either take Dallas Turner or trade back and collect some picks to lessen the blow from whatever punishment we’ll be getting from the tampering fiasco.

It's more than okay not to like the pick, but I think we should have learned way back in 2016 that where the media ranks guys and where teams rank them is sometimes vastly different
