70 days until the first day of the EU Parliament election. We recorded information about direct+indirect parliamentary group affiliation for 196 parties projected to win seats. We lack this data for 3 parties (each 1 projected seat) NIKI 🇬🇷 PE 🇬🇷 Második Reformkor 🇭🇺 #EP24
@EuropeElects NIKI would opt mostly for the ID parliamentary group, given their stance towards Russia, while PE would opt for the GUE-NGL or the G/EFA parliamentary group (the second option is even more plausible).
@EuropeElects Második Reformkor can probably be best described as a centrist party. They base their program on certain affairs, not on a single ideology so I think they would be NI.
@EuropeElects One of NIKI's MEP candidates stated that, at the moment, they have not agreed to join any European party. On the other hand, PE is mostly a big tent anti-establishment party, so they will also probably be in the NI group
@EuropeElects Niki is a national conservative patriotic party, that speaks a lot about Christianity - Orthodoxy, the demographic problem of Greece and the support of Greek family. It has some commons with Greek Solution and in my opinion Niki may go to ECR, but they say that they are NI fornow
@EuropeElects PE would obviously seat with the left
@EuropeElects Niki is a Christian fundamentalist party which is represented in the Greek parliament. Due to it's Christian Orthodox nature and vocal anti-Catholic and anti-Protestant rhetoric, it's unlikely that it'll join any parliamentary group. PE is a left-wing Eurosceptic party.
@EuropeElects NIKI and PE still has no group affiliation yet, they would seat in NI.
