Tesla puts '$25,000 electric car' codenamed NV9 on back burner despite what Elon Musk said electrek.co/2024/04/15/tes… by @FredericLambert
@ElectrekCo @FredericLambert All of retail just Qlonned again...Can't be trusted, zero fiduciary responsibility NONE.
Wow, really @FredericLambert!? “Musk might take issues with claiming that it is “canceled”, but the project is effectively scratched right now as Tesla is putting all resources into its self-driving effort.” I stopped reading Electrek a while ago and this article certainly won’t change that. The entire article can be summarized in the following: It was previous reported that the $25,000 Tesla had been canceled. @ElonMusk denied the report saying it was false. New information suggests the next model is delayed as @Tesla focuses all resources on self-driving.
@ElectrekCo @FredericLambert $25k car will cost Tesla around $20k to produce. You can sell it for a $5k gross profit or you can use it as a robot taxi and make $2,5k a month with it. Choose your fighter
@ElectrekCo @FredericLambert @Micro2Macr0 any thoughts on this
@ElectrekCo @FredericLambert So nothing new then. They’re prioritizing/focusing engineering on robotaxi. Never said cancelled as Reuters alluded to.
@ElectrekCo @FredericLambert The only logical reason Elon would make Robotaxi the top short term priority would be if he feels strongly that FSD will reach Level 5 autonomy in 2025 and Tesla will get regulatory approval to turn on the Tesla Network. Anything less would make this a crazy decision.
@ElectrekCo @FredericLambert Yes, because Fred Lambert is a great source of truth about Tesla.
@ElectrekCo @FredericLambert Wow that was ugly. Thank god.
@ElectrekCo @FredericLambert Is that a report or a rant?
@ElectrekCo @FredericLambert Meanwhile, $FSRN.... short squeeze....
