During our March East Kinston Neighborhood Meeting, we played Neighborhood Bingo! The premise of the game was to encourage participants to meet a new neighbor or learn something new about a community member. Players won “bingo” after identifying neighbors who met certain criteria

Kinston Teens is hosting a Sunday Dinner event THIS Sunday (04/21) at the East Kinston Neighborhood Hub from 3pm-5pm. The meal is FREE for our community members. In addition to the meal, helpful resources from Kinston Teens and community partners are also shared at these events!

Our plan is for our new Neighborhood Hub facility to be a true resilience hub for @EastKinston. We see this providing a safe space for young people to learn & play, and, in times of disaster, serving as a shelter and springboard for neighborhood-level emergency response.

@NCEmergency invites young women in grades 9-12 to explore the diverse careers in emergency management and public safety this summer. The workshop will take place from August 5-9, 2024. Deadline is fast approaching and space is limited, apply today at ncdps.gov/nc-herricane.
