The FTC just approved their nationwide non-compete ban. The ban also requires employers to proactively send a notice to certain workers that their non-compete won't be enforced. TL;DR if you are an employer who asks employees to sign non-competes, call your lawyer asap.

The ban also requires employers to proactively send a notice to certain workers that their non-compete won't be enforced. TL;DR if you are an employer who asks employees to sign non-competes, call your lawyer asap.
