Dr Mosab Hamdan, postdoctoral researcher here in Walton Institute, and researcher in @connect_ie recently joined @fortiss Munich on an impactful #secondment as part of the @DucaProject, where he contributed to advancing trust-aware cooperative mobility and misbehavior detection in C-ITS deployments. While there, Dr Hamdan collaborated with @DianBalta and Alexander Perzylo focusing on #security and misbehavior detection in Cooperative Intelligent Transport Systems (C-ITS) deployments, particularly; 💡 Security review of C-ITS deployment in #Ireland: evaluating ETSI PKI-based security and its scalability for real-world implementations. 💡 Misbehavior detection using #blockchain & lightweight ML/DL models: investigating real-time anomaly detection to mitigate #cyberthreats in vehicular networks. 💡 Privacy-preserving Vehicle-to-Infrastructure (V2I) authentication: strengthening trust-based access control mechanisms in C-ITS. 💡 Aligning anomaly detection in V2X networks with DUCA’s trust-aware cooperative mobility framework.
