Pubs are, by definition, venues for adults and it is completely normal to want to spend time in those spaces. Have a discussion about family friendly spaces if you want but to equate child-free drinking with excluding minorities is just insulting!
@DrFrancesRyan I agree with you, though I think there should be a mix! Our pub kicks kids out at 7pm which is fair enough. One thing I would say though is that ASD diagnoses are on the rise and more people should be kinder about critiquing “poor behaviour” on the part of toddlers!
@rhiannonlucyc I simultaneously think adult only spaces are great and that you’re a real arse if you criticise a child for acting like a child in one!
