There are some things you may never be able to understand until you've touched them with your own bare hands. I have seen the effects of bad doctrine on people I love and care about. There's no "grace" I can show to the peddlers of these things. None.
I agree. It is God who works in us both to will and to do of his good pleasure. That's correct! But to paint it like the believer has no responsibility at all. Nope. There's such a thing as instructions in righteousness and believers are meant to obey those instructions.
@iamNNEmmanuel If Jesus did not die your death, you would not even be there, if he did not give you His spirit to purify your intents, you would have nothing to show after your works have been tested... No one in Heaven would have gotten there by sheer force of will.
We need to know this! Salvation is a process: beginning when you first believed & consummated when you see Jesus. The knowledge of this makes you humble about the grace of God yet confident (not one without the other). The reason many scriptures relate overcoming with the Exodus.
X: Jesus did not die so that you can be wealthy. Y: Oh, so we should be poor? You are saying that Jesus saved us to live in lack and poverty? Christians should be destitute? Jesus, please, do what my words cannot. Bring conviction. Sanctify hearts. Please, God.
Be careful about those who love to blur the line between truth and error.
There's no "hyper" in the message of Grace. Grace is Grace.

Metaphysics just is the study of Being or of reality — and you cannot SAY that Being or reality cannot be studied without SAYING something about Being or reality — hence DOING METAPHYSICS (albeit badly). Hence Etienne Gilson famously noted:
