adding more onto this, i just really hope we have more varied gameplay. the castle is literally perfect for puzzles and new entities like a moving statue or something. the swinging axes is sick, so excited for the hazards.
tfw floor 3 is just gonna be a reskinned floor 1/2 with 2 new entities and hype moments and aura (i really hope not, i hope it's on par with archives and outdoors)
@Studi0_z We said the same thing about The Mines and it was mediocre at best looking back. The chases were the best part of it, as The Nest was a pretty boring "boss encounter" and Dam Seek was alright as a final boss I guess. I have hopes that it'll be great, but just worried.

i'm honestly just hoping they add more entities than the mines did, cause i really don't want to just face rush, ambush, screech, halt, dupe, and all of them again with the addition of one or two new entities. the mines only added giggles, grumbles, and reworked eyes & hide 😭

🚪DOORS: Fun Fact (Entities Edition) • 2 of the new entities inside of The Archives and The Stairwell have been planned for years! These two being Alma and Creak! Creak's design is the same since it's leak in 2024, but Alma was leaked in The Backdoors and changed completely!
the journal is genuinely the best thing doors has ever done. it's better than any floor, update, anything. also who made the artwork? can someone link them? it adds a lot of charm to it and i love that doorsman is now canonically an artist lol peak update addition fr
@_Reformed_ i just think that the hotel seek chases kinda suck at showing seek off as a big bad. maybe they're trying to go with the whole "villain of the week" turns into multiverse level threat tho so idk i think they should give it a more interesting introduction to the game
honestly i think the backdoor needs a rework/touch up next, not a whole remake, but something that would actually make it more enjoyable for people instead of a chore. oh and rework the hotel seek chases too, that'd be sick
