Puppies and dogs need to be social but not attention pests! Not everyone likes dogs. So a going up to people even if they’re polite (and lots aren’t) is opening your dog up to a bad reaction from a stranger. That’s not an IF, but a WHEN! #dogmann #dobermann #dachshund #dogmanners

Tracking? Why? It teaches them to concentrate over an extended period. Plus they love it and if you lose your keys whilst out on a walk you’ve greatly improved your chances of finding them 😂 Mental exercise is so important if you want a calm and focused dog. #dogmann #dobermann

“I’ve too busy!” I’m guilty and I bet you are. This took 90 seconds. Got kids/ partner, then share the load or peel yourself from your TV for 5 minutes to see benefits in your dog. 3-5 very short sessions on a walk or at home. Be savvy with time instead of using it as an excuse.
Learning occurs when you interact with a dog. So everyone in the family should have some interaction no matter what their age. Don’t say you haven’t enough time! 2-3 minutes 3 times a day adds up and could mean the difference of having a well behaved dog or one put into rescue 😔
