“The growing body of research now confirms…CoV-19 should be considered a virus w/ a significant impact on the brain. The implications are far-reaching, from individuals experiencing cognitive struggles to the potential impact on populations &…economy.” theconversation.com/mounting-resea…
@DocJeffD Masks throughout healthcare and clean air in schools seem prudent. Public health could have an educational campaign re airborne spread (inc pre/asymptomatic) & that damage can be silent/LongCovid can manifest weeks or months after acute infection (and risk w/ every re/infection).
@DocJeffD It’s not covid that’s causing impacts. It was the trauma from C19 “NPIs” and constant crisis mongering (still continuing with a different “crisis”).
@DocJeffD Explain this study: pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/38382013/
@DocJeffD So when will King County bring the mask mandate back? People who can't risk covid (everyone) will not be able to get care at ANY hospitals until then.
@DocJeffD Stop. Just stop. All cause mortality is now at or very close to baseline. We're not seeing population wide decreases in cognitive ability despite multiple infx on avg per person. These types of fear-mongering and anti-data tweets cause a lot of harm. Just stop.
@DocJeffD So we'll continue to pretend it's gone and do nothing whatsoever about it.
@DocJeffD How do we push this info out to King Co and beyond? Most people have no idea and have bought into the “covid is just a cold” talk track.
@DocJeffD So, why isn’t the King County Dept of Health recommending mitigations for schools, businesses, restaurants, etc?
