Year 2 have been learning about using arrays to solve multiplication equations. We used counters and cubes to practically make arrays then draw them.
Year 2 have been learning about expressive and abstract art and used different materials (pen, oil pastel, pencil crayon) to experiment with colours.
Year 2 have been using coins and notes to make different amounts in maths this week. We tried to find the most efficient way using the least coins.
10am start again to allow children and staff to travel safely in the ice and snow .
School will open late at 10.30am due to the snow and difficult roads / pavements . Stay safe!
Great to see the recycled greenhouse being rebuilt in our forest area . Lots of planting to be done in 2025!
The Y1’s last week had a fantastic time at Millhouses Methodist Church taking part in their annual Christmas tree festival . This years theme was ‘looking for Jesus’. The children made decorations that represented the three gifts the wise men brought.
