@carfucar What is it with hotels and their almost puzzle-like illumination? Tiny hidden switches, weird 2 1/2 way switches, etc.

@wk057 To big for us (we just upgraded to 20’) but for the right buyer this is great! I’m holding out for one that can also act as a powerwall for the house for the other 90% of the year when we’re not camping.

@BartWronsk I am not an expert but I think I’d reach for a software phase-locked loop (PLL) approach which can create a multiplied-up high frequency (engine or sample clock) from the incoming low frequency (MIDI clock) and will speed up or slow down as needed, at a max you control.

@jasonbot2000 Maybe the pre can be fixed; I didn’t try. It was time to move to 5.1 so I bought a Yamaha. The hk was already second hand and had a good long life. The amp went on to make scary noises in a haunted house and shared its stories with the silent pre.
