10-year old Connor Esterson developed a 6-page treatment for a film which was so loved that writers Nick Vallelonga & George Gallo are now working with him to develop the script to pitch to studios. The film follows a boy who befriends an mobster living next door, described by Esterson as “Home Alone meets The Godfather” though he admits he’s never seen ‘The Godfather’ (Source: hollywoodreporter.com/news/general-n…)
@DiscussingFilm A 45 year old aspiring screenwriter who hasn’t sold one script reacts to this like…
@DiscussingFilm Has he seen Goodfellas? "Ever since I was a kid, I always wanted to be a gangster..."
@DiscussingFilm Maybe give the Godfather a watch then!
@DiscussingFilm Hope he won’t get duped out of his royalties
@DiscussingFilm Home Alone meets The Godfather? That's all you had to say. I'm down for it!
@DiscussingFilm I’d prefer Midnight Run meets The Freshman.
@DiscussingFilm Connor Esterson.. remember the name
@DiscussingFilm I guarantee it'll be better than 90% of what Disney has put out lately.
