If Andrew Johnson somehow concluded prior to the 1864 election that Lincoln was “not fit to serve,” would anyone care? No. Same with Pence’s repudiation of Trump. Pence, like Johnson, is a dullard and opportunist who simply wants to go in a different direction from his old boss
@DineshDSouza And take an American history class.
@DineshDSouza Considering that prior to the 1864 election, Andrew Johnson was the military governor of Tennessee, no, I don't think anyone would have cared.
@DineshDSouza Pence I believe is compromised in some way. Only thing that makes sense
@DineshDSouza Andrew Johnson was not Lincoln's vice-president during his first term, so this analogy is utterly meaningless. But other than that, great point! 🙄
@DineshDSouza Johnson was not Lincoln’s vice President during his first term, and Lincoln died about 6 weeks into his 2nd term. not a good example
@DineshDSouza Hannibal Hamlin was the vice principal president, not Johnson. The reason would matter. If Hamlin wouldn’t endorse because Lincoln cried “stolen election” and every court rejected that claim and an insurrection ensued, yeah, people would’ve cared.
