Peter Capaldi had the best writing of the series. I think when people say “he was wasted” what they mean is “his series weren’t enough like Tennant’s”.

@DimensionsInJen I think Capaldi was written to be too mean his first season of #DoctorWho, but his Doctor is perfectly written his second and, especially, his third! In those last two seasons, he is still written to be grumpy, but it's delivered with jokes rather than malice, like in his first.
@DimensionsInJen The problem i have with Moffat is that his highs are great, but his lows are LOW low
@DimensionsInJen I met him at a comic con, and he is a very very nice person.
@DimensionsInJen Personally, I just don't think they were consistent enough. When it was on form it was unbeatable though.
@DimensionsInJen There were a couple of clunkers, lol the moon and forest if the night spotting to mind but the rest is generally good
@DimensionsInJen Totally agree. He brought something new away from a glamorous younger swashbuckler.
@DimensionsInJen I didn't watch season 10 initially, as I was busy and mostly abroad. I watched it later and I loved it. Capaldi was great. It talk me a little while to warm to Bill, but I ultimately did, and the way the thing that saved her in the last episode was set up in the first was great.
