@LastPassHelp Your CSRs explicitly said they could not delete my account, and I had to use the broken site. Don't worry, I diagnosed the problem and found a workaround for anyone else wanting to leave. reddit.com/r/Lastpass/com…

Hmmm, @LastPassHelp here's a helpful workaround to the unfortunate 'bug'🤔 that prevents users deleting their accounts on their website. Handy as your CSRs told me they can't delete my account either... #ScumbagSystem #LastPass

I hope some sites like @business, @arstechnica, @tomsguide, @PCMag , @WIRED look into how @LastPass is treating customers who are trying to leave. There are some pretty serious questions to answer. Can't disable auto-renew, can't remove payment info and can't delete account.

@LastPassHelp Also "Delete Account" doesn't work - I think it's pretty clear what this all says about LastPass as a company, I'll let others draw their own conclusions, but I'm contacting my bank.

@LastPassHelp So, why not explain how clicking "Cancel Auto-Renew" doesn't work, how you can't remove your credit card info, or cancel your premium subscription? I'm leaving, and I'm telling all my friends to leave too (after figuring out how to help them get away from you).

@troyhunt @LastPass Lot of respect for your viewpoint @troyhunt (not going to argue with an OG!) Do you know extra info, as the “Proprietary technical info” was scary - i.e. did they get some private keys, or connection details, exploitable info that could compromise security for a dedicated hacker?

Look at the #DigitalExlusionRiskIndex for #Oldham, you can see why it was so important that @OasisAcademies put an iPad in every child's hand last year. @OCLNorth works in the heart of our most excluded communities and children must not be excluded from digital access.
