Bill Shishima returned to @HeartMountainWY for our 2024 pilgrimage with many members of his family. Over his right shoulder is a photo in our museum of him as a toddler in his family's Little Tokyo grocery store.
Ben Kuroki fought racism to be the only Japanese American to serve in the Army Air Corps in Europe. He survived 30 dangerous bombing missions in Europe and then returned home to urge Japanese Americans to serve in the fight against fascism. 1/2
