@emmii_67 Robot. Milk went up to 3 or 4 cents when I was in grade school. The robot is out of place. I hated every minute of grade school.

Daily low-dose aspirin can slash dementia risk by up to 70%, for individuals with a specific genetic profile. For years, medical professionals have debated the brain-boosting benefits of aspirin, with broad clinical trials concluding that a daily regimen does little to stave off cognitive decline for the general population. However, a landmark genetic analysis from Monash University published in Alzheimer's & Dementia has cracked the case wide open by showing that a "one-size-fits-all" approach may have been masking the drug's true potential. By analyzing genetic data from more than 13,500 older adults, researchers discovered that individuals in the top 20 percent of a platelet-related genetic score saw a dramatic 70 percent reduction in dementia risk when taking low-dose aspirin compared to a placebo. While the discovery points to an exciting future for personalized medicine, scientists urge caution before patients run to their local pharmacies. The same genetic traits that make aspirin highly effective at preventing dementia also come with a steep trade-off: the rate of major internal bleeding among the high-benefit group nearly doubled, rising to 4.4 percent for those taking aspirin compared to 2.1 percent on the placebo.
