Clarence Thomas didn’t show up to work today. Didn’t work remotely, as they are able to. Reports say that he frequently leaves court, falls asleep, writes incredibly short dissenting opinions on important cases, and just lacks effort. He doesn’t want to be there. He doesn’t want to do the job, but rather just wants the money. He needs to go. Our nation deserves better.
@DerekNeverFails @YoungerLorna I think he went 10 years without asking a question from the bench.
@DerekNeverFails @rolandsmartin Unfortunately the law has never applied to affluent powerful people. If it did, most of the affluent and powerful would be in jail, which is why they don’t investigate themselves.
@DerekNeverFails That’s what happens when you give someone a lifetime appointment to a job. No risk or fight to keep said job. He’s gotten comfortable and will stay comfy until he’s ready to go. Happens a lot with govt employees. Should be 10-20 year appointments at best
@DerekNeverFails This may be the first thing that Thomas and I have ever agreed upon. He doesn't want to be there, and I don't want him there either.
