“Jaishankar has served as the tip of the spear for an unapologetic India, led by Modi." Unapologetic indeed! foreignpolicy.com/2024/04/05/ind…
Unapologetic indeed and rightly so. There is absolutely nothing India has to be apologetic about, India is doing what is best for India & Indians, just like USA does what is best for USA. Infact India should take pride in the fact that it believes in and practices “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” (the World is one family) and helps other Countries in hour of need.
@DerekJGrossman Unapologetic, and rightfully so. India has been a reliable partner, and a force for good, unlike the sham€less Americans, who've always put their narrow self-interest above all else.
@DerekJGrossman Yet he needs a reality check on Galwan killings and other threats from China that he routinely downplays..
India is simply holding its fort. India helped 100 countries with vaccines while so called developed world left global-south begging, worse, arm-twisted them for land, oil, military base etc. India is helping Maldives with food, water, vaccine etc even after their government came to power opposing India and removed Indian personnel from the islands. India helped Srilanka billions of dollars even bigger chunk than IMF, without any pre-conditions. India is still herself calm about Pakistan, though it can take back its own land anytime. Don’t compare India’s moral stand with bullies in developed world !
@DerekJGrossman But it doesn't appear that India has built any solid lasting relationship with any country. Unapologetic on principles is one thing, but there is fundamentally nothing that India speaks up for.
@DerekJGrossman What does India have to apologize for exactly? Unlike China and the US
