Cut taxes and help South Africans keep more of their hard-earned money. ➡️Lower company, dividend and personal income taxes. ➡️Increase the primary rebate to R 300 000, meaning those who earn R 300k per year and less do not pay income tax. ➡️Scrap red tape and unnecessary government regulations. ➡️Reduce property rates and taxes by at least 15%.
🏘️Fight unfair property valuations and tax! Introduce national legislation to force local authorities to become the buyer of last resort should a property owner not be able to sell his property in the open market for a price at least equal to the valuation attached by local authorities to his/her property.
🏘️The Free Democrats will put homeownership back into reach for many South Africans.
➡️Boost home ownership🏘️ All property transfer, finance, energy installation, security and maintenance costs, all salaries and wages of domestic workers and gardeners and all fully paid up utility bills should be 100 % deductible from personal income tax.
