@levelsio I’m European and just came back from Brazil. What she says it’s accurate. In the southern cities like Curitiba you feel unsafe in the outskirts (not the centre) or you feel safe. Brussels is just terrible throughout. I’m sad to hear that Amsterdam has become bad.

Thank you for the clear answer to what Anthropic is claiming the issue to be. Their real reason I’m afraid is a deniability one. I’m pretty sure that their models, although brilliant, at core they suffer from deficiencies that might turn dangerous. In individual use the danger might not materialize, but in heavy military use it might. So before an operative gets killed or a mission fails and the whole thing blows up at their face, Anthropic comes with a “noble” justification why they can’t remove guardrails and framing the gov as the ones with bad intentions. Self preservation and not safety dictates their stance.

Almost 3 years ago my wife and I (both EU citizens) were seriously considering to move to UK (asset mngm sector). Only God spared us from doing so. You went out of the EU because you were concerned about EU immigrants and you set ridiculous conditions for Visas (employer specific). You scared away good continental immigrants, and ended up with illegal third world immigrants with no respect for laws, women, and life itself. For what? To have them on perpetual welfare? Even imprisonment drains resources. Right the ship before it’s too late.
