Klatt's argument is that McDaniel's offense is "not the right offense for (Tua)". According to him, Miami needs a QB "who throws on time with great leverage and accuracy down the field." That is, quite literally, a PERFECT description of what Tua actually is. Make the argument for Miami going first round QB all you want (I won't), but literally saying "Tua bad" (although untrue), would have been a substantially better argument than this. Tua is in THE MOST timing oriented offense in the league BECAUSE that's his skillset. McDaniel tailored the "Shanahan O" to match the skills of his QB, and literally said “I know for a fact from this night of study that this is the best quarterback for our offense that I’ve had the chance to coach." As far as leverage and accuracy, you can find COUNTLESS clips of Tua manipulating defenders to find holes in zones (that otherwise wouldn't exist) and THREADING THE NEEDLE. I love Klatt's work, but I just don't get this AT ALL.

@DeSenaSports @hughart_michael Joel Klarna is a college guy. Clear he doesn’t watch nfl games regularly.
@DeSenaSports Timing, when you are everything is perfect. His accuracy and timing falls apart when he senses pressure or has to hold the ball. If a receiver gets rerouted, he starts to panic. The traits that makes him a fit, often fade as the defenses get tougher. As they play more physical
@DeSenaSports Klatt WTH are you talking about & have you EVER watched a Dolphins game. Tua extremely accurate qb & his super power is anticipating routes, throwing ball to a spot. Also some of the times when ball is behind Hill on them in breaking routes imo Tua intentionally slowing him down
@DeSenaSports Klatt should stick to arguing that having the opponents playbook doesn’t matter.
@DeSenaSports Tua doesn’t have the arm strength/talent for this offense
@DeSenaSports He makes the perfect point time & time again hill has to stop and wait or come back to the ball on most intermediate to deep balls. Does tua throw it on stride to the 5-10 yd psses yes but the moment it goes beyond that 70%+ the wr isnt hit in stride which is his point foe penix
@DeSenaSports And still went 1-6 VS good teams and would have been 0-7 if Sanders doesn’t nail a 57 yard field goal….Also Struggled in all 7 of those games to score more than 1 TD. ….YIKES.
