@RachelBitecofer Why is nobody stopping this? That's the baffling part. They have a right to peacefully protest but they crossed the Rubicon here and are being permitted to do so. None of this is passing a smell test and I pray I am right that the average voter is not paying attention.

Drunk driving is a deliberate choice and a crime not a mistake. Crimes require punishment. No one is above jail. If you do the crime, you do the time.

@RachelBitecofer Why is nobody stopping this? That's the baffling part. They have a right to peacefully protest but they crossed the Rubicon here and are being permitted to do so. None of this is passing a smell test and I pray I am right that the average voter is not paying attention.

@NancyLeeGrahn The victim who almost died has surely suffered immeasurably at the hands of an irresponsible, selfish drunk driver. She should count her blessings for this light slap on the wrist. Imagine this being any random person driving drunk and severely injuring your loved one.

@NancyLeeGrahn @Rhondasam You want to campaign for better jail conditions in Los Angeles County? Go for it. But the state of the jail has nothing to do with the sentence she deserves as a result of her crime. Jail isn't supposed to be comfortable; it's meant as punishment, which is what she deserves.

@NancyLeeGrahn @Rhondasam My cousin was 17 when she was killed by a drunk driver and I've had lifelong injuries from that same accident. I have zero tolerance for someone who drinks and drives. Haley's 90 day jail sentence is nothing because she deserves a harsher punishment IMO.

@NancyLeeGrahn @Rhondasam It sucks when you see someone throw their life away, but the other 20somethings who are serving time for DUIs resulting in injuries are serving time in county jails too. She is no different, special, has more potential, or is more sorry. So why would she get different punishment?
@NancyLeeGrahn Sorry but what she did deserves more of a 90 day punishment. Seems that famous people are not held accountable for their crimes. I loved her as an actress but a crime is a crime.
