It’s a solid probe. Have used it for a PIV in an 8 month old without too much trouble. Biplane is probably more hype than it’s worth. Resolution reasonable for the lower leg regional Ive done.

@kovacsgj Why not encourage providers to do their normal clinical judgement for RSI drug dosing? There is already a lot of “new” in this process. Asking someone to intubate with solo agent ketamine at low dose may lead to an agitated patient and increased risk?
@kovacsgj I’m concerned about the drug dosing. Why suggest a change practice, when hemodynamics haven’t been the issue until later in the disease? The way this is written, your RSI may be 0.5 mg ketamine and then only Rocuronium because Ketamine says (if not given for preox).
