On behalf of those of us who have health issues, I personally respect that decision. Seeing how the quality of life in retirement becomes more problematic by trying to get plans sorted to live with some dignity. (yes, even us with disabilities want to fight for the right to live), the process is so complicated and not as straightforward as one would like to have expected after a long career in politics and defence. Plus, do I really need government times squandered on something that we as individuals control on our own terms. (right to commit suicide) should that point in time arise. Only protection I would rather see, is that a friend who is informed, is not prosecuted for knowing about it.

Good afternoon, certainly needs a public debate on the direction of the UK food industry. As a dairy, agricultural nation, there should be excess foods to feed the country to at least 85% self sufficiency. Especially as we are exposed to global issues on a daily basis by governments over the past decade or three. Not sure if the @10DowningStreet has the courage to take on board that the fact health is declining, obesity increasing by the fast food outlets on the high streets, the knock on effects will be more demand on the NHS without a policy that works for all, not the few. Maybe the farmers can form county wide " Farmers Cooperatives" and sell directly to households and they make a better income to survive and not held to ransom by supermarket shareholders. Thank you for raising this issue though, hopefully the country will unite on the basic need of food supply and quality of it.

When you get to 66,000 words and 10,000 words on a dissertation and then get that brain dead mental block. Not sure if its in need of a kick up the backside or cold shower to reawaken my mindset.

Good evening, personally I have no problems with the police having the right equipment at all times. After 40 years in politics, the only thing that seems to be getting far problematic is the crime. Be it shoplifting, dubious people or joyriders who use social media to highlight their actions. ( Thoughts and Prayers go to the two officers by the way). Western democracies are becoming so soft on crime, that it is no wonder criminals are thriving. Whilst we disagree on many things, (yes I am a pro military socialist and strong laws (including the death penalty for people who kill emergency services or military personnel) I do want to see the government stepping up on tackling the issues, and listen to all people who are concerned, without being hostile to their concerns but to learn that issues are brewing up that will become aligned to 1970's/1080's violence on the streets if politcal parties do not start aligning and putting victims first, regardless of their identity. Apologies for the Sunday Rant...

Survived 40 years and next year is the last election campaign. Politics has been an extremely personal journey and doing ones best in trying to make a difference, getting people to use the vote and seeing how things have not gone to plan. I still believe in the electoral processes and those willing to stand at an election as a candidate. We should never fear the government because we have different beliefs or views, but should embrace our differences and find solutions together. Have a good week everybody

@KarlTurnerMP @samaritans I wish it was a straightforward scenario. I make no apologies for opening up, but when the state fails folks. To then rely upon strangers who do a great job, but cannot resolve it. I question why political parties despise society with psychological issues. Best wishes
