كلام الأجيال ما يصير مصدر تاريخي. كل الشعوب عندها روايات تتناقلها، بس اللي يثبتها هو النقوش والوثائق، مو “قالوا لنا أجدادنا”. المؤرخون ما يكتبون خرافات، يكتبون بناءً على آثار ومصادر موثقة.أما إنك ترفض التاريخ المدوّن وتتمسك بـ”سمعنا من جيل لجيل”، فهذي طريقة تفكير الشعوب الجاهلة اللي ترفض العلم وتعيش على القصص.الكلدان مذكورين في سجلات بابل وآشور والكتاب المقدس كأمة وشعب، مو كمهنة. فلا تبرر ضعف معرفتك بحجة “الأجيال قالت”، لأن التاريخ ما يُبنى على كلام المقاهي، يُبنى على الدليل الأثري والمصدر الأكاديمي

يبدو إنك ما مميّز بين التاريخ والعرافة. الكلدانية ما كانت مهنة، الكلدانية حضارة أقامت أعظم دولة في وادي الرافدين وعلّمت العالم الحساب والفلك والكتابة. اللي تذكره من “تفسير الأحلام” و“مراقبة النجوم” هذا كان علم فلك ورياضيات دقيقة، مو شغل سحرة. أما إذا قراءتك للعهد القديم اقتصرت على كلمة “كلداني” وربطتها بالسحر، فهنا المشكلة مو بالنص، المشكلة بفهمك السطحي للتاريخ. الكلدان تركوا آثارهم في كل بلاد الرافدين، وسُجل اسمهم في النقوش والوثائق المسمارية قبل ما تعرف أنت معنى كلمة قومية.

لقد تدهورت الأوضاع بشكل خطير في إيران وإسرائيل. لذلك أجدّد النداء للمسؤولية والعقل. إن الالتزام ببناء عالم أكثر أمانًا وخاليًا من التهديد النووي يجب أن يُسعى إليه من خلال الاحترام المتبادل والحوار الصادق، من أجل إقامة سلام دائم قائم على العدالة والأخوّة والخير العام. لا ينبغي لأحد أن يهدّد وجود الآخر أبدًا. ومن واجب جميع الدول أن تدعم قضية السلام، من خلال بدء مسارات مصالحة وتعزيز الحلول التي تضمن الأمن والكرامة للجميع!

Cardinal Louis Sako, Patriarch of the Chaldean Catholic Church in Iraq and worldwide, has stated that Chaldeans constitute a distinct nation and rejected being labeled as Assyrian or having that identity imposed on them. His remarks have sparked controversy among some Iraqi Christians, particularly Assyrians, who argue that religious affiliation and ethnic identity should be treated separately. They claim that Chaldeans should be considered ethnically Assyrian. However, the Chaldean Church maintains that Chaldeans are ethnically distinct from Assyrians and identifies them as a separate group. It is worth noting that Chaldeans make up the majority of Iraqi Christians.

Cardinal Louis Sako: We, as a Church, as a Chaldean nation, are open to others and engage in dialogue with them for an acceptable naming agreed upon by all. But we reject foreign labels and do not accept anyone imposing them on us, just as we do not impose our name on anyone.

I’m happy how the Chaldean church is becoming more strict on the Chaldean sellouts (the traitors who go we are Assyrians but our church is Chaldean) they already created too much damage and division among our community to satisfy their Nestorian masters

We need more "Chaldeens" to come out and be this brave. I grew up in "their" community, and once they see everyone following this trend, they will be the most proud of Assyrians and even claim they started the movement 🤣
