@SeanDOlfc We’ve not created anything from open play for weeks. We don’t cross, overlap, cut it back, shoot from distance, get the ball into the channels, run at defenders, counter press to win it back high. Any ways to create a chance, we don’t do it. He feeds off scraps at best.

@TheImmortalKop The issue is, the team don’t know what sort of chances he thrives on so don’t create them for him. The team don’t know what they need to do. He’s a good finisher, ok physically, not good in the air. So we need to create cut backs and balls into the channel for him but we don’t.

@AnfieldEdition Everything seems completely improvised. Everything we do seems purely off player instincts as they don’t actually know what to do. It’s why we don’t create chances anymore as they don’t know what they should do so they do nothing. We don’t get the ball back as we don’t know how.

@DaveOCKOP We don’t attack with any speed. The players are so unsure what to do. How to create chances. We don’t overlap, we don’t cross, we don’t shoot from distance, we don’t attack full backs, we don’t try and create cut backs, we don’t actually do anything.

@AnfieldWatch Players knowing how to win the ball back, some sort of pressing structure. Not just jogging or standing off. Knowing when to go. Attacking patterns. It’s so slow even on the counter as players don’t know what to do. The players knowing what sort of chances Ekitike thrives on.

@Lfc_Cody18 Encourage the players to make more forward runs and to make quicker and more direct passes into them to stretch the play out. This will threaten more in behind and vary the attack. Cross quicker from wide areas. Take far, far less touches when in possession. Shoot from 18 yards.

@Connor_LFC8 Lots of them wanted to go and needed minutes. Kelleher earnt his move, Morton was always on loan, Trent wanted to go, Diaz wanted to go, fans constantly complained about Tsimikas, Doak never played.

@Thelfc_Ace Players don’t make these forward runs now as they know the ball isn’t coming. They know it’ll just get tapped about in midfield. Macca could make these passes but he has no space to as our players are all around his feet.

@pranav_m28 We’ve absolutely ran this 11 into the ground now for 18 months. We spent big which did feel exciting at the time but we could have done with depth in hindsight. Isak or Guehi, a forward (Semenyo, Mitoma etc) and keeping Elliott. I think that I know what makes more sense now.

@DaveOCKOP Need to work it into areas to shoot from outside the box a bit more. Will make them come out and will then create gaps. Got away with it massively with them hitting the post.
