Glad to hear Vini Lunardelli are to stop making their disgusting "historical wines" - If you want to pay tribute to history it would be better to name wines to honour people like Raoul Wallenberg, Nicholas Winton and Oskar Schindler!
@wineecon Thanks for your comments, but unlike the grape information we aren't trying to be comprehensive, these are just suggestions, not rules. Clearly there are many more possible combinations and these will vary as the range of wines from each variety varies.
@wineecon @Coravin The device with the needle is an opener, not a wine preserver. It injected CO2 into the bottle and the pressure pushed the cork out. Rather than poison the main risk was using it was that bottles like the Mateus Rose fask or Bocksbeytel couldn't take the pressure and exploded!
