If you happen to live by an NDAWN station, or drive by one in your travels, we would really appreciate help clearing the solar panels off. The wet snow/drizzle from last week, plus new snow means our panels are covered and our batteries are dying. Any help would be appreciated!
@DarylRitchison I'll work on improving the solar angle and increasing day length network wide. Will get started first thing tomorrow. Should be finished about the third week of June.
@DarylRitchison NASA relies on dust devils to occasionally clean solar panels on Mars Rovers. Mars is usually cooler than ND. Why can't snow devils do it for NDAWN? My hypothesis is that "hot" surface air is unavailable to initiate DD due to low snow albedo and low air temp gradient by ground.
