Hockey and lacrosse stay where they are as premier programs anyon would want. You have to figure some of the other sports programs and the travel costs. But overall right move for football, MBB,WBB, and the school as a whole

I don't understand the loyalty to the A10. Yes clearly a better conference for MBB and WBB but still a 1 bid league more often than not. UMass could be competitive in MBB again in CUSA and great in WBB.

The piece does go on to mention that UMass would need to get over their loyalty as a charter member of the A10 in order to make such a move UMass should be well past that by now, and if they are not, then shame on them

@Tjonesonthenba I wouldn't. Zion is the most risky great player in the league (outside Kyrie for other reasons). You could be creating a contender but more than any other trade hamstringing your team for half a decade. Also not sure he's a fit
