Liz Truss may be an imperfect messenger, but the response to her book highlights one of Westminster's biggest flaws - it has stopped listening to ideas it doesn't agree with: inews.co.uk/opinion/laughi…
I am an economist i did listen to her alternative view and discarded it as being batshit crazy. If any of my students had made any such claims i would have failed them. So why should i listen to utterly stupid deranged ideas that i warned before they were implemented would have exactly the impact they did?
@D_Blanchflower @KateEMcCann Kate works for Murdoch.
@D_Blanchflower @KateEMcCann And I’m a trader who had one of my best weeks ever trading against her Totally utterly bat🦇💩crazy And if you want to talk conspiracies how’s about Odeys cable trades and KamiKazie
@D_Blanchflower @KateEMcCann Danny is being modest. He also sat on the MPC and his good judgement is on the record in multiple, very well received, interviews on the BBC and other places. I would refer people to back copies of "Wake Up To Money", pre Miss Brexit Cooper "oh look at my shoes" days.
@D_Blanchflower @KateEMcCann There’s your answer Kate. Good luck.
@D_Blanchflower @KateEMcCann I don't think we need any lessons from Lettuce Liz. Any wonder we're not listening to her!
@D_Blanchflower @KateEMcCann I was a customs policy lead in Whitehall during the whole Brexit debacle. I used to joke that my middle name was Cassandra.
