The sad thing about @trussliz through it all amid the terrible reviews of her appalling book is that she isn't bright enough to realize that she is a laughingstock. She should just have apologized and disappeared.
@D_Blanchflower @trussliz @D_Blanchflower you have literally been wrong on inflation for years, first claiming it transitory, then higher rates do not lower inflation, but claim to be an economist. She does not claim to be an economist and never did. You are the laughing stock and don't know it.
@D_Blanchflower @trussliz She got where she did courtesy of her wealthy don’t-think tank ‘friends’ and their powerful paid allies. Now, after implementing their agenda, making them rich as disaster capitalists, she’s left with nowhere to go but to keep making a fool of herself shilling for her paymasters.
@D_Blanchflower @trussliz Her budget policies were sound. The BoE used her as a scapegoat, which you well know. Those calling her a laughing stock aren’t earning respect from people that know better.
@D_Blanchflower @trussliz And it's pretty scary that she clearly thinks she could be elected again as Tory leader. 'Scary' because it's perfectly feasible that it could happen ..
@D_Blanchflower @trussliz No no no. She’s the gift that goes on giving 😂😂😂
@D_Blanchflower @trussliz Here she speaks sense telegraph.co.uk/news/2024/04/1…
@D_Blanchflower @trussliz But thank goodness we live in a country that still allows her to have her opinion, and us to agree or disagree with her.
@D_Blanchflower @trussliz Truss is one thing, the really unbelievable thing is that the vast majority of the Tory party thought it would be a great idea to give her the highest job in the land - the PMs. Not, for a second, learning from the horrendous Boris Johnson mistake!
