Narratively speaking, one benefit of Elon Musk buying and struggling with Twitter after his successes with Tesla/SpaceX would be to shift the 21st c tech story from "Bits are easy, but atoms are hard" to "Bits are easy, and atoms are harder, but people are impossible"

@DKThomp I think the idea social media is impossible because people are weird is lazy. These things have been designed to create angry factions in order to monetize outrage. The problems here are less about the moral impossibility of designing censorship, and more about rewiring the core
