Stares at Bijan, Allgeier, London and Pitts and the Falcons having a fringe top ten pick. Why does the record matter? Love sat and didn't help the Packers go from the NFCCG to a SB.
I see a lot of people making this comparison and ignoring context The Packers were 13-3 when Love was drafted. They had a 1000 yard rusher and a guy with nearly 500 yards Adams at receiver and a Top 10 defense, they had the LUXURY of picking Love. Falcons do not.
I feel bad for Kirk Cousins. I feel bad for Michael Penix, Jr. I feel bad for sad Falcons fans. But I feel the worst for all the dedicated Falcons fans regurgitating the front office talking points being convinced this was a good pick.
