Congratulations! Supreme Court has declared Imran Khan's arrest, by paramilitary units, from Islamabad High Court illegal. Now what does it mean? because judicial system in Pakistan is very weak & executive in no mood to listen to courts. Is this a cosmetic measure to create impression that courts exist? to send crowds back to home and then arrest through Islamabad High Court again? ...because the conduct of Chief Justice of IHC, in all this drama, has already raised very difficult questions..

Attached courier receipts clearly prove that only an Enquiry Letter was received, on AL Qadri Trust Issue, from NAB & was replied by Imran Khan & his wife on 5th May; but Chairman NAB had issued a Warrant for Arrest on 1st May? Why? And when NAB Chairman converted an Enquiry into Investigation? Why? On what pretext? Lie has no feet to stand upon!

Pakistan's Establishment's needs careful rethink! Gen. Bajwa's blunders & lack of understanding of evolving political dynamics has created new issues which ex-Chief could not understand because of his arrogance. With 70% population under 35, growth of urban centers, rise in college education, lack of meaningful jobs, growing income inequality, penetration of cheap handheld devices, consciousness of better life, end of dynastic politics in India's center (Narendra Modi) etc created a new consciouisness. Top down decisions of Bajwa/Nawaz/Zardari deals - were bound to create reaction and backlash. PTI is merely ridiing on this wave of consciousness - somone will. PPP and PMLN or Maulana Fazal can not identify with this new consciousness. These old schools of thought simply don't fit in, so PTI fits in. Combo of Shahid Khakkan and Dr. Mifta floated recently is far too late and still lack luster. So there is no alternate to Imran Khan for the next few years - a settlement is needed between two powerful political realities: Establishment & Imran Khan's PTI. All rest are now minor players. But Establishment's continuing unwise policies - or some will say compulsions from Nawaz/London and elsewhere - have sucked it into a conflict which it will lose by winning. Gone are the days, when people used to kiss the bumpers of military jeeps, now they are ready to burn these - as we have seen in the last 30 hours of mayhem. This change of mood & psyche needs to be understood. Where is is military fighting now? and with whom? Is it fighting on the other side of LOC or deep inside its own territory? Is it fighting Indian soldiers or TTP guerrillas or young men and women of Lahore and Peshawar? Its important to reflect on these questions!
