@AWeirdPhysicist @KevSpahn @Caffeindated Worms can't grow spines. So, no, they would not.

@reidhslaughter @WhyTanFox @brockm Capital Expenditures (Capex) of SpaceX was $20.7 billion in 2025. NASA received a total budget of $24.8 billion in 2025. So, how is NASA constrained?

@Ratatonic Soulslike Core Mechanics: Checkpoints that respawn enemies The corpse run - loosing currency upon death Stamina-based combat Limited healing items Skill and pattern mastery Interconnected map layout Environmental storytelling A dark, oppressive tone Yup, it's a soulslike.

@MensHumor That's the old system. My dad was as mechanic but in his early days of employment he he worked for Total. Back in the 80's they tested low quality engine oil compared to high quality and they found out that it doesn't make any difference as long as you change it every 6k miles.

@DarkHelmet1984 @faustianwigger

@oliver_drk Piracy doesn't kill anything because majority of pirates wouldn't have bought the game in the first place. We have been over this multiple times through last 30 years.

@MonsterEagle91 High video game piracy rates are closely tied to income disparities and pricing mismatches between global standard prices and local purchasing power. Over 90% of piracy is happening outside Western markets.

@Blackchild1101 @DarhkDamie37150 @grok My man, how are they going to sue someone in Russia, Eastern Europe, South America or majority of Asia? That's where majority of those servers and databases are. What they can do is shut down Western sources. That's about it.

@Blackchild1101 It's in the ether. How many times was Pirate Bay "shut down"? It's still there. Same with Nintendo games. Modders and crackers are just pumping those out every day. What they had to do was leave it in one place so they can monitor it. Hell, even offer them to legalize it.

@RoninRakurai They won't bother. Piracy has never reached concerning numbers in the main markets. That's why to this day, majority of games don't use complicated drm protection. Back in PS1/2 era, Sony store employees in Eastern Europe and South America were jailbreaking consoles in the store.

@Teslapunk3327 @wais6747125414 @ymnis_v1 In North America, yeah, probably the market with least pirated/jailbroken consoles. Eastern Europe, Asia, South America, that's where it's going to happen the most. Back in ps1 and ps2 days, Sony store employees where jaibreaking new consoles for customers on the spot.

@CarlaTaggarty @CLEsportsOH @ShitpostRock There is always a choice, it might be hard, but there is one.

@Teslapunk3327 @wais6747125414 @ymnis_v1 Actually no, you don't. You can still connect to the net, just not to PSN, that's why you have dns block. That has no effect on jailbroken consoles because they are using pirated/ripped games. You can even play on line with other jailbroken console users.

@ymnis_v1 That's not really something that people who jailbreak their console will have any impact. It might dissuade some people who are undecided. It's a choice, jailbreak a console and get ripped games, or use PSN. Jailbroken consoles (PS or Xbox) were never used with PSN or Live.

@zahracusdottir Logistics are there to support and make savage violence possible.

@roxaplasm Nah, it's fine. Actually, there should be more of it in other games. It's a non issue. If it was a problem or too easy, it would be used more. Most of the Elden Ring bosses are parryable but only top 0.5% of players manage to do it.

@ds428pdkrx @PunksWorldd Console isn't $400. Today, yeah, good pc is around $2500. When PS5pro released, for the same money you could have bought a more powerful pc. Asus ROG was selling their desktops with 32bg ram, Rtx4070TI and 1tb ssd for same price PS5pro was going.

@amac_1001 @JrNoonan87 @Centrist1344 @TWilsonOttawa OMG! No they are not. Swiss have their ammo and guns in their homes. No need to be a part of any militia or be in contact with the military. The ones who are get actual full automatic rifles. Most of EU countries didn't ban AR15 nor handguns. They even have concealed carry.

@metricmoves @Marionete04 I personally believe you can do whatever you want with your property. That being a console, pc, car or a fridge. If you want to turn your ps5 into a toaster, go for it. If you want to unlock it and mod it for other os besides the one Sony installed, why the fuck not?

@xtremeleafan @P__Barnes @NoGunsInCanada That is irrelevant. People who want to commit suicide, will find another way if they don't have a gun. The issue is that firearm-related violent crime rate still sitting roughly 44% higher than a decade prior, when handguns and AR15 were not prohibited.
