My feeling when I tell my assistant I have a game “on computer” and she mercilessly roasts me for sounding ancient. Elder millennials back me up! “I have it on Nintendo” = “I have it on computer” right…? RIGHT?!!!
Everyone disagreeing with me is wrong, and I declare victory.
@CubanMissileDH Right! Like, oh I have it for the Playstation, or I have it for the Switch. Maybe 'I have it on Steam' is more like what she expects?
@CubanMissileDH 42 year old checking in. Indeed I got BG3 on PS5. And deep rock survivors on steamdeck
@CubanMissileDH How else are you supposed to say it???
@CubanMissileDH How else is one to know which system you have? It’s not just about the game it’s flexing your system! Kids don’t understand the SNES v SEGA era. The “on computer” tribe was always a wildcard.
@CubanMissileDH I’ve heard of computer game or pc game or on my computer/on a computer.. but have never heard “on computer” specifically in a context where it could be interchanged with on (specific gaming system name). Is that what we are talking about or did I wildly overthink this?
