When you’re far from home, in an unfamiliar place, with a critically ill child to care for, comfort can feel hard to find. But sometimes, comfort comes in small, simple forms. A quiet room, a comfy bed, or a bar of chocolate waiting on your pillow.

When she’s not saving lives on St Michael’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Emma runs a fundraising stall in the hospital reception. She sells handmade baby blankets, cardigans and soft toys – all of which support NICU babies and their families.🧶
