A civil war in Sudan that started one year ago has claimed tens of thousands of lives and displaced millions of people. In March, I led a Congressional delegation to the Chad - Sudan border and visited a large and growing refugee camp. We witnessed the enormity of the crisis and the extent of the unfulfilled need firsthand. There are so many crises in the world that demand our attention, but the crisis in Sudan must not suffer from our indifference. We have the power to save lives and help those suffering.
@CoryBooker I saw what you did in Newark so I think you should sit this one out
@CoryBooker Are you really this dumb? Is what Americans are thinking of you…. All the time! STFU
@CoryBooker Booker, you’re a disgrace, please resign immediately!
@CoryBooker Maybe pay attention to our country for a change?
@CoryBooker So you want us to add another conflict on our plate? You need to worry about our border sir!!!!!
@CoryBooker You shouldn’t be traveling to anywhere and especially using our money - do the world a favor and stop interfering in other countries.
@CoryBooker Maybe you should be more concerned about our borders vs some other country!
@CoryBooker Are we going to start sending billions there now too?
@CoryBooker How about we focus on our country for a change. Veterans homeless, exposed to toxins and forgotten. We are told that there is no money for us yet we find money to send elsewhere.
@CoryBooker This is absolutely heartbreaking. Omg the replies complaining about our border completely miss the point don’t they? Thank you for opening the eyes of Americans who have shelter and so much food we have to diet. Please help the Sudanese.
