It’s about reclaiming Africa’s rightful presence in the world’s imagination. When Africa looks smaller on the map, it also looks smaller in minds, textbooks, investment decisions and global power structures. Correcting the map is correcting the story.
For generations, the world has been taught to see Africa as smaller, less significant, and peripheral — not because of geography, but because of a map. Maps shape how power, importance and possibility are imagined.
