@MoistenedTart Sometimes these are so bad I wonder if they are made up but then I remember I've actually met men. I lost a friendship with a 44 year old man a few years back because he joked about hitting on college girls & said "gross". My fault cuz I "made him feel bad". I hope so!
@Cooperstreaming Actually, when I’ve been friends with guys, and I’ve made them aware of sexist attitudes, I have to say, at least 80-90% of them do NOT receive it well. So that doesn’t actually surprise me, Cooper. And I’ve happily lost those guys as friends because of it.
@Cooperstreaming Real. I’ve made a brief friendship with a 40ish man when I was 15 and I don’t need to elaborate how our friendship ended.
@Cooperstreaming @MoistenedTart I’m given the reaction I’d say you’re better off
@Cooperstreaming @MoistenedTart Someone must not remember all the 40 year old women lining up outside movie theaters with signs professing their love for the teenage stars of Twilight. The difference is one is culturally acceptable
@Cooperstreaming @MoistenedTart My 27yo boyfriend stopped talking to one of his friends because he kept hitting on girls between the ages of 18-21. He was like “my little sister is 21, the brain development just isn’t there yet, what would he want with someone that young other than to manipulate them??” Bingo!!
@Cooperstreaming @MoistenedTart The older I get ( I'm in my 40's) the more college aged people look like kids to me. I don't want to date them, I want to make sure they did their homework and that they have a warm sweater.
@Cooperstreaming @MoistenedTart He wouldn't feel bad if he didn't knew it's wrong tbh
