@D8bitGaming Complete random builds can lead to some amazing group dynamics, or pure disappointment of course. Like the tallest dwarf ever being bald and trained as a sorcerer with a pig for a familiar and the rest of the party being too weirded out by this so they refused to work with them.

@RamiMintaRa Hell... you listen to someone like Salma Hayek, Antonio Banderas, Peter Stormare, Udo Kier, Eiza González and they wouldn't be as sexy as they are without their accents. Maybe. Not to exoticise accents either, but no matter what you like/love someone else with dislike/hate it.

@RamiMintaRa As an ex English Language Teacher (TEFL, TESOL, whatever you call the international specialisation rather than generic UK based) I always made a point of encouraging my students to not aim for a perfect accent. It's very hard to reach if you don't move to a country that uses it.

@RamiMintaRa There are loads of International Englishes anyway, like Singalese (Singaporian English) or South African English (rather than Afrikaans for instance). It's always better to develop your own accent, let it be natural, so long as you speak clearly and are understandable.

@RamiMintaRa Even then, if a perfect accent is your goal, if you never attain it you're just going to think your English sucks, even if you have perfect accuracy (grammar, spelling, intonation, etc.) and fluency (speed, responsiveness, creativity, etc.)...

@meghancaves It was really good. Some excellent memories and in jokes were born from them. Mostly by annoying each other in character - to avert the encroaching despair of the game through some inappropriate humour - but what else are friends for?!.

@meghancaves The rest of the group were equally useless to be fair: a starving artist, a middle manager from a sporting goods store, and a burnt out child acting star now with a drug problem and no roles beyond cameos. I think the campaign lasted 6-8 games. We did not deserve such long lives.

@meghancaves Never the same thing twice? I've never understood playing the same archetype in different games. The longest campaign I played in as a disgruntled beatnik postal worker trying to bring the system down from the inside... It was a Cthulhu game so he was ill suited for most tasks.
