@ciarannugent Ciaran I’d be interested to see what the net yields would be in comparison? As you well know, countries allow mortgage repayments to be deducted before tax is applied which makes a huge difference to the realised yield. Obviously this doesn’t align with you initial tweet though..

There's a deep concern about 3rd level education. It is selling it's soul (& standards) to ensure a flow of overseas students continues, the cash cow for 3rd level. Cheating rampant, blind eye being turned, on campus accommodation unfairly distributed.

@ciarannugent Cmon Ciaran at least get your facts right: You get the €30k HTB for the deposit and it says the minimum required earnings is €85k, not €112k. €85k between two people working in Dublin City Centre is pretty reasonable.
