NEW: New bodycam footage shows Texas man Kenneth Knotts saying "I can't breathe" before dying in police custody at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Knotts was taken for a mental health evaluation after a traffic stop. When he got to the hospital, Knotts appeared to be suffering from a mental breakdown and wouldn't comply with the police. Knotts was taken to the hospital after his tire blew out on the freeway. An incident report says he was acting "erratically, combative and spitting" when police approached. After wrestling with him and putting him on his stomach in the hospital, Knotts stopped breathing. "No pulse! No pulse!" a staffer yelled. The medical examiner report allegedly ruled Knotts died of cardiac arrest after being put in a "semi-prone position," a homicide. In November, a Dallas County grand jury declined to indict anyone involved with the homicide.
@CollinRugg What was his toxicology report showing?
@CollinRugg Why are they just now releasing this footage, 2 years later?
@CollinRugg I can see this not going well.... I mean, what could they do different?
@CollinRugg I’ll just lightly place this right here…
What are the chances that Kenneth Knotts has major cardiovascular and respiratory disease, and just swallowed a handful of meth and fentanyl, then violently fought multiple officers against lawful arrest? Are the police now guilty for trying to lay him back on a hospital gurney?
Today my faith in future generations was restored!! I had 7, 6th-grade boys come in while I was working and they wanted to order wings. They asked if they had enough money to cover 40 wings and pops. I looked around confused- wondering where their parents were. I asked if they were alone and they said yes and we’ve been looking forward to this for weeks! They were so excited and were EXTREMELY polite the whole entire time, using please and thank you and trying to make it as easy as possible for me to get their order; they even told me they’d tip well 😂. It was touching to see how much the children were trying to behave well, even when there were no parents around to scold them. One of the boys even asked his friend to get off the phone while I was talking to them! They were so good that a neighboring customer ended up picking up their tab and telling them to pay it forward! I just wanted to give big props to the parents of these boys- keep doing what you’re doing!! Pictured is how they left the table! Even grown adults (myself included) rarely leave the table this clean!
Twin brothers were born in an American family in 1978. The brother, who was five minutes older, had a healthy heart, and the younger one also suffered from cardiomyopathy and cerebral palsy. However, this tragic circumstance only brought the boys closer. The "older" brother always took care of the "younger", helped him, motivated him. And even when a sick boy at the age of 13 needed the heart of a voluntary donor, a healthier brother wanted to commit suicide so that his heart could be transplanted to his brother. The vital organ was found on time, and the "older" boy went to the studies of a biochemical engineer after school to invent a cure for the disease for his brother and other people. But fate determined otherwise. He became an actor and even a Hollywood star. And the younger brother became a lawyer who defends the rights of children with cerebral palsy. Today, Ashton and Michael Kutcher are active in charity work together.
