All I can say is that those people in high visibility jackets, genuinely don't know their arse from their elbow. I'm not sure they could even ride a bike themselves. Great job 👍

Rise London bike race will be finishing on East hill at 3pm today. However at 7am, all of the access for residents has been blocked. Despite making plans to park elsewhere this afternoon after picking up my daughter and walk home. We had no idea we wouldn't be able at 7am.

It's only fair to update and say that just now one of the senior members of staff has now apologised and said it was a mistake on their part. We do now have access (2 hrs later). Luckily however we did manually get out earlier to get to school/work on time 👍

@Essex_CC @RideLondon @UttlesfordDC @yourcolchester @ActiveEssex Great job in blocking residents on East Hill from taking children to school and getting to work 8 hours before the bikes actually use it. The road is still in use, but metal barricades are blocking residents - yet business offices opposite had barriers undone for access 🤔

🤔 So, let me get this straight. There are a handful of people protesting for unrelated topics simultaneously, in the rain? 🤨 I mean, if that's the case then I'm certainly thinking 'WTF?!' right now 😕 But at the same time, provided they didn't... ♻️🛢️Glue themselves to the road. 📚🔥Burn or rewrite books. ⚧️🏳️‍⚧️Label any disagreers as fascist. Then go for it!🤷‍♂️ That's the ideal way to use freedom of expression, right? Although I will just throw it out there: If you do accidentally spill a tin of soup over the 'Walking Woman' statue on the High Street, I won't dob you in 🥫🗿🤐🤣
