@JayzTwoCents Worth adding as well that I set my mother's 15 year old laptop (designed for xp) with a super lightweight version of linux and she's been getting on fine with it for a couple of years now.

@JayzTwoCents There is always a lightweight option. In my case I'm running linux on a 10 year old laptop that would grind to a halt with Win10. Personally had very few issues with drivers but that might just be me.
