@SuiBuilds I highly recommend both! Running is great! Free the soul and get away from the desk electronics etc… 3d printing is also magical! You should look into it. So much fun.
I can’t believe how many vibe coders still complain about AI being “slow.” Yes, these GPU data centers are massive, and in theory you might expect 200+ tokens per second. But that’s not always reality when millions of people are tapping into the same infrastructure at the same time.
What’s even crazier is that many users are building things without understanding the fundamentals, scalability, or long-term viability of what they’re creating yet they still expect instant results.
Regardless, the speed at which modern LLMs generate code, ideas, and solutions is absolutely insane when you step back and think about it. We’ve gotten so used to near-instant intelligence that people complain when it takes a few extra seconds. The technology is moving at an unbelievable pace, and I think more people should appreciate just how remarkable it already is.
Yes, absolutely. But you need to understand what you're actually implementing. If you have a solid grasp of programming fundamentals, the codebase, and the underlying stack, you can accomplish a lot using even the free tiers of today's AI coding tools.
The problem is that this often isn't the case for the average "vibe coder" who's simply riding the current wave. Tools can accelerate development, but they don't replace understanding. When something breaks, scales poorly, or introduces security issues, knowing how the system works becomes the difference between shipping a product and being completely stuck.
If more people understood that, they'd approach these tools very differently.
I recommend avoiding Reddit as a primary channel for promoting your work. In my experience, the platform can be challenging for creators because of strict community rules and a culture that isn't always receptive to self-promotion. It can also be difficult to have meaningful conversations when discussions are dominated by trolls or people who aren't genuinely interested in what you're building.
If your goal is to get your first users, focus on building connections in your local community. Network through schools, local events, and people you already know. Simple marketing methods, such as handing out small business cards with QR codes, can be surprisingly effective. They help you reach real people directly, generate interest, and avoid many of the frustrations that come with online promotion.
@daicandev Locally literally… had small like business cards made and passed them out, left them out in the parks, attached them to bulletin boards etc…old school ways always works…
Hey @X 👋

I’ll check them out!
Stop talking about what you're going to do.
Nobody is waiting for your announcement.
Most people stay on the sidelines because they're afraid of looking stupid, failing publicly, or getting criticized.
The funny part?
Everyone can see the hesitation anyway.
You're not protecting your reputation. You're protecting your comfort.
Post the thing.
Launch the project.
Share the work.
The people who win aren't always the smartest.
They're the ones willing to step into the arena while everyone else is still explaining why they haven't.
I dumped 37 random thoughts into Naggio this week. Today I searched one phrase and instantly found a project idea, a meeting note, and a task I'd forgotten about.
Jon, that’s essentially how everything works and often the hardest part. You can build something incredible, create a tool people genuinely need, or even cure cancer. But if you can’t get it in front of the people who need it, it remains hidden from the world.
Success isn’t just about creating a great product; it’s about making sure people know it exists. That’s why you have to be the strongest believer in what you’ve built. If you don’t champion it, no one else will.
