A friend of mine, who was undergoing psychology training, shared a real case. A newly married woman had become deeply dependent on ChatGPT. From the very beginning, she sought its advice for everything her marriage, her husband's behavior, family issues, even religious practices. Over time, instead of discussing problems with her husband or family, she relied more and more on AI. Eventually, her marriage deteriorated, she moved back to her parents' home, and within a year, she filed for divorce. Later, when they consulted a mental health professional, one of the doctor's key suggestions was simple: don't depend on ChatGPT for every life decision. Limit screen time, and when it comes to important personal matters, talk to people who truly know you your family, trusted friends, mentors, or a qualified therapist.
